Intervention chirurgicale qui a pour but de refaire une membrane tympanique vibrante.
L’indication est essentiellement posée pour fermer les perforations tympaniques. Mais on peut aussi avoir recours à cette intervention pour renforcer une membrane atrophique.
Étym. lat. myringa : tympan ; gr. plassein : façonner
