Syndrome clinique associant une anémie hémolytique extracorpusculaire, une thrombopénie périphérique et une insuffisance rénale rapidement progressive.
Il regroupe diverses entités proches, notamment le syndrome hémolytique et urémique et le purpura thrombotique thrombocytopénique.
