The Academy belongs to the Federation of the European Union Academies of Medicine which is based in Brussels. The Federation takes joint positions on health policies which are transmitted to the services of the European Community. On the international level, the Academy belongs to Inter Medical Academy Panel, first project of international network of Academies of Medicine, eventual adviser to main international organizations on worldwide health problems.
